MB Dynamics Wins Key U.S. Air Force Contract For 'Next Generation' Calibration Systems
Cleveland, OH USA – 17 May 2011. MB Dynamics headquartered in Bedford Heights, Ohio with offices in Germany and sales agents throughout Asia, South America and Europe, announces it has won a contract from the U.S. Air Force (AFMETCAL) valued at over $600,000 USD to supply Air Force Precision Measurement Equipment Labs (PMELs) with a total of sixty (60) "next-generation" Win475 Calibration Systems and sixty-seven (67) sets of Reference Accelerometers, with first deliverables expected later this year. Richard E. McCormick, President of MB Dynamics, states that, "These systems will enable the Air Force to keep its arsenal of accelerometers and velocity transducers in calibration compliance, in support of the mission at USAF bases worldwide." This is a follow-on project to the one MB fulfilled in 1997 for a similar number of such calibration systems. MB's predecessor, MB Electronics supplied AF75E calibration systems to PMELs more than thirty years ago. "The strategic importance of today's contract is that it continues MB as the Air Force's preferred supplier of calibration systems to its PMELs, a fact that has generated many sales of Win475 systems over the last two decades and much credibility because the USAF put their stamp of approval on, and purchased, these systems. This latest contract undoubtedly enhances the continuity and prestige of the MB Calibration product line."
