The C40HP, C90HP, and C150HP Electrodynamic (E-D) Shakers from MB reflect the latest in enhanced design and increased performance. A well-respected brand since the 1950s, MB shakers have earned a reputation for high performance, longevity, reliability, and dependability. These three enhanced HP models build upon MB's family of C-Series Shakers (C10, C25, C40, C50, C60, C90, C125, C126, C150, C200, C210, C220), a family with a strong record of proven performance and outstanding reliability for almost fifty years.

The C-Series HP shakers have 2" of stroke, automatic payload recentering, and force ratings ranging from 3,000 - 20,000 lbf. There is more to a system however, than just force ratings. There's TOTAL SYSTEM PERFORMANCE. When well-matched with an MB M-Series Amplifier, an HP Shaker will out-perform many shakers with larger force ratings and still provide a full 2" of stroke (continuous duty).
Couple this 'dynamic duo' with an MB Win2K5 Vibration and Shock Controller, slip table, air-isolated common base, and /or ultra-stiff head expander, and your test lab can perform all the popular shock and vibration tests plus tailoring and R&D tests. There is no longer a need for a dedicated shock tester, spectrum analyzer, or consultants to help you do tailoring.

Specifications subject to change without notice

(1) Random force ratings assume a flat PSD profile: 20-2 kHz bandwidth, 3 sigma response and the following pure mass payloads: 200 lbs for C40HP; 310 lbs for C90HP; 450 lbs for C150HP. Consult MB if your conditions are markedly different.
(2) Shock force ratings assume 30 g/11 msec half-sine pulse. Consult MB for other shock tests.
(3) Several suppliers quote systems with uncommonly small amplifiers having large force ratings but they are severely limited by very small velocities (sometimes less than half of MB's velocity rating!).
(4) C40HP and C90HP recenter payloads up to 800 pounds vertically. Larger payloads need auxiliary support for vertical tests.
(5) C150HP recenters payloads up to 1500 pounds vertically. Larger payloads need auxiliary support for vertical tests.
(6) Random vibration levels above 35 gRMS may require special options (depending on test). Consult MB about high level tests.
(7) Each sinusoidal test is limited by velocity and displacement specified for a given shaker system.
*Payloads shown include all mass attached to the shaker's moving element including Unit Under Test (UUT), hold-down fixturing, slip plate (if any), head expander (if any), attachment bolts, etc.

PM-Series Multi-Purpose Shakers

MB's line of PM-SERIES Shakers uses permanent magnet technology and the voice coil principle to create vibration. These multi-purpose shakers are heavy duty, rugged, industrial quality equipment with a proven track record of lasting decades in demanding applications. You can buy "bargain basement" shakers or you can choose MB PM-Shakers which will provide years of dependable, reliable, consistent testing. Choose from five different sizes with maximum sine force ratings of 25, 50, 100, 250 or 500 pounds. The PM25A, PM50A, and PM100A shakers all have 1/2" stroke and a 2.7" diameter mounting table. The PM250HP and PM500HP shakers each have 2" of stroke and a 4.1" diameter mounting table.
