MB Dynamics portfolio now includes a Battery Pack Vibration Test System. The system is built to test your Rechargeable Energy Storage System (RESS) or Battery Pack. Just like the hundreds of MB Dynamics systems that are in use at many automotive assembly plants, automotive supplier facilities and automotive Just in Time (JIT) facilities, this Battery Pack Vibration Test System will assist in verifying the on-going quality of the battery pack.
If the system is used early on in the R&D phase of battery development, or after your battery has exceeded International and National test standards such as UN 38.3, ISO 12405, GB/T31467, ECE R100, SAE J2380, FMVSS, KMVSS, JIS, etc., or in the serial production quality control process; the MB Dynamics Battery Pack Vibration Test System is your reliable solution. It’s flexible frame design and very little infrastructure requirement also allows installation at the Battery Pack end of line (EOL) or in the charge/discharge testing area. The technology used in the Battery Pack Vibration Test System has been proven over and over again to verify product quality in a very cost-effective way. The initial investment as well as yearly maintenance costs are much lower compared to hydraulic test systems.
The Battery Pack’s lifetime is affected greatly by the environment in which they operate and by the dynamic loads directed into them. Adding dynamic vibration testing to the development and/or the quality control process will enhance the quality program. Using MB Dynamics latest vibration controller allows the use of Time History, Random, and Sine excitation profiles. You can test your Battery Pack and Battery Management System at the SPC level required to ensure continued high quality.
Optionally, the Battery Pack Vibration Test System can be ordered with a battery health data acquisition and managing system. The battery health data acquisition can be used to test for user specific data such as Hi Pot. In addition, the system can be integrated in a climate chamber.
